The Inland Empire Creation Science Association Presents: "Reversing the Exodus of Our Youth From The Church" by Chuck Marler The presentation will focus on numerous polls and surveys that show over 60% of youth raised in the church have stop attending church after they graduate from high school. Although the reasons for their departure are diverse, one of the major reasons for their exodus is their impression the church is out of step with the scientific world. This conflict of faith vs. science isn't just limited to church youth. Recent polls have shown the adult population in the United States is less certain about the existence of God than they were ten years ago. One of the reasons the church has not addressed this subject is the topic of scientific issues is often toxic or divisive among church members.
