True Christmas Stories

In a bleak depressing world getting worse every day, it’s always good to remember that there is a lot of good things too. The Apostle Paul said (Philippians 4:8), “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”  Especially during when we celebrate when Jesus brought truth and light into a dark world. Here are some true Christmas stories that shin a light on your Christmas and will hopefully cheer you up!

I remember Paul Harvey who always had happy good, funny, and interesting discoveries in the news every day at 12 noon. I miss him.

The world today is full of cynicism, fear, and cultural and political enmity, our media is full of lies and violence. With such an overwhelming wave of bad news, it’s good to see that there’s a good side to life. And they are especially needed during the celebration of Jesus birth!

The evening of December 24, 2009, Mike and Tracy Hermanstorfer were expecting a baby. It was Christmas Eve. During labor, Tracy’s heart suddenly stopped beating, then her breathing stopped. The doctors reacted: they had little time to save the baby and the mother.

They immediately performed an emergency C-section,

Then the baby Coltyn, showed signs of dying: he was limp, pulse and heartbeat were extremely weak, and everyone was losing hope. The child remained unresponsive in his father’s arms, another team attempted to resuscitate Tracy, who lay motionless on the hospital bed. Then   suddenly her heart started beating again. And so did baby Coltyn began to recover. His skin, changed from pale, and became a normal color, and he started crying taking his first breath. Two lives survived from a miracle.  And the doctors had no explanation.

       Another true story:

Christmas Eve in 1931 Ed and Julia Stewart’s car broke down as they were driving home seven miles west of Superior, Arizona, in the middle of the desert. Ed tried to figure out what the problem was, while Julia wandered into the desert. There she came upon a hatbox. she called Ed over and together found a baby inside. Abandoned and alone, the newborn girl was in good health. Ed fixed the car and took the baby to the authorities, who could not find the mother and put her up for adoption.

Another couple, the Elliots, adopted the girl, known by the media as “the hatbox baby.” Faith, the adoptive mother, named her Sharon. The baby grew up to live a happy, healthy, and successful life.

When Satan leads a mother to attempt to murder her baby God intervenes.

World War I was a horrible nightmare. It’s estimated that between 17 to 40 million people were killed, the most deadly conflicts in history (surpassed only by WWII). But amid the horrors of war, on Christmas 1914. The fighting stopped on the front lines on both sides to commemorate the birth of Jesus.

While British and German troops were in the trenches of France (My brother john was there in a tank in France), some soldiers started singing carols on Christmas Eve, and the other side joined in. The next morning German troops walked across the battlefield, shouting “Merry Christmas!” in English. The British received them and both sides exchanged cigarettes and souvenirs. Some even got together to play a friendly football match!

Yes only Jesus can bring people together. The world and the agents of Satan are in our media and government are trying to divide us and conquer us for the Satanic New World Order, the Satanist Anton le Vey said the 1960s was the beginning of the Satanic New Age.

Today we need people who love Jesus to bring people together and share the truth.
