A Study in Revelation Part 2

Henry Morris mentions that Jesus had already risen before Sunday, on Saturday at  6 O’clock.  But he was revealed for the first time on Sunday. This change was from the Jewish Dispensation to the new Gentile Dispensation. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, which was the fulfillment of the old. Thus it became The Lord’s Day.

Jesus was the first to rise from the dead, and we will also rise from the dead in the near future.

One mistake Henry made. He says Jesus went into Hades (Not Hell i.e. the bottomless pit) to proclaim victory to the evil spirits incarcerated their waiting for their sentencing from jail Hades, to the Penitentiary Hell.

Jesus went to Abraham’s Bosom the part of Hades that kept the spirits of Christians until their pardon came with Jesus sacrifice. Then they rose from the dead following Jesus’ Resurrection.

There is an ancient record in Jerusalem that one Christian Pharisee that had died attended a meeting of the Knesset after he rose from the dead.

       Matthew 27:52-53

"And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."

When Jesus rose into the sky on the Mt of Transfiguration he was flowed by thousands of Christians. Including Moses and Elijah who had appeared to the disciples with Jesus in their new celestial bodies.

By the way Methuselah is not the oldest man.  Elijah is now still alive in his physical body after 4,370 years. Happy Birthday!! Now call the fire department to blow out the candles.
