Study in Revelation Part 6

        The first part of Revelation is about the Gentile Church Age, with messages to each of the different churches, on their strengths and their weaknesses. From notes by Henry Morris in The Henry Morris Study Bible.

       Then it turns to the revived age of The Jews when the Tribulation Period starts. The Period of judgement against Jews who have rejected their messiah Jesus and the New Testament. The last week of Daniel, 7 years.

       With the voice of a trumpet it will be announced to the whole world of believers who are listening to “Come Up Hither!”

       At the end of the Church Age, the Rapture will remove all believers who trust and desire to obey his commandments will meet him in space above the earth. Then we will be judged for our works of righteousness to be assign positions in God’s kingdom.

       The rainbow is mentioned is only mentioned four times. The number symbolic of earth. It is the symbol of mercy and grace in time of judgement.  

       There are 24 elders Christians from the time of Genesis. These are the bloodline from Adam to the son of Pharez the grandson son of Abraham. This bloodline led from Adam to Jesus. It is the antithesis to the bloodline of the Nephilim from Ham 666.

       The 7 spirits of God are Characteristics of true Christians:  Truth, Holiness, Faith, Wisdom, Power, Grace, and Glory.

       The 4 beasts are cherubim and seraphim referred to as living creatures. These are the highest angels. Lucifer was one of these before pride blinded and brought him to destruction. The greater they are the greater their fall.

       They covered the ark of the Covenant and guarded the entrance to Eden with a flaming sword.

       In John’s vision they were humanoid with a face of a lion, ox, and eagle. This represents them as guardians of the carnivores, the herbivores, and the flying creatures. It is significant that there was no guardian for the fish, creeping things, and Henry Morris says that in the New Earth there will be no sea, and all creeping things (snakes and scorpions) are symbolic of enemies of man.

       God gives crowns (rewards positions of governance) to each righteous person who follows Jesus. Then they (we) cast our crowns before Jesus, showing that all our accomplishments were from him. We are his servants who will do his will. Unlike the people in government who seek their own will and accept bribes from lobbyists and evil foreign governments.  

       The universe was usurped (U-Serpent) by Satan from Adam who had the title deed. Ultimately the universe belongs to the Creator, the Word Jesus. Being both God and man allows only Him to redeem the universe from Satan. Jesus is the direct heir of King David. And the whole earth and universe belongs to the Israelites. As Christians we are grafted into the Israelites family tree and have the right from Jesus to possess the universe.
