Not All Churches are Protestant

Joe Taylor comment on Facebook October 30, 2017 BAPTISTS ARE NOT PROTESTANTS. We were never part of the Catholic Church of Rome so we did not protest it and leave. Catholics protested us Baptists. If you are a Primitive Baptist, Southern Baptist, Missionary Baptist or any other kind of Baptist, or if you are one of the charismatic churches or Church of Christ, you are not a Protestant. Tomorrow is the day, 500 years ago, when Martin Luther, a Catholic monk at the time, nailed his protests of the Catholic Church, to the Whittenburg door which resulted in the Reformation and the Protestant churches, such as the Lutherans. Jeremy: Excellent Joe, the Catholic church fathers that people often mention were not our church fathers. Our church fathers were Matthew, Mark, Luke, John etc. True Christians have always been outside the organized church.
