Most creationists assumed it was a miracle. Henry Morris III argued with me, and said that was evolutionary concept. Both evolutionists and creationists were reluctant to accept extraterrestrial impacts that effected our ancient history. Because for evolution it was catastrophic and falsified uniformitarian theory upon which evolution theory is founded; and for the creationist it was a naturalistic explanation for the cause of the Flood.
