Secular geologists assume millions of years, but Creation geologists show that most geologic features were created suddenly during cataclysms. My own research for my book   Mysteries of History Revealed shows that the earth went through a massive worldwide asteroid shower two times in history. One was at the KT boundary when Noah’s Flood occurred about 2348 BC, then another huge but smaller asteroid shower occurred about 2000 BC. (Radiometric dating has been proven totally false and other evidence proves dinosaurs are thousands of years old see proof in my books) The same story is found on the moon. The first was the greatest forming many craters the size of Texas. Then they were eroded and buried by continent crossing tsunamis, then again by erosion by receding water. The Falt Earth people are right? The geologic column proves the earth was flat. And it proves it was formed by a global flood. Notice the sedimentary rock are laid down by water in flat layers. These flat layers are one mile thick.  These flat layers go all the way to micro layers called varves in shale. The first picture shows an Eocene fish fossil in a typical layered shale slab. Below it is typical layered sandstone These are dinosaur trackways. All in flat layers. The one below was tilted as the mountains rose. Now when the flat layers are forced up during orogenous events (mountain building) as the continents were forced up and moved, sediment which has not hardened into solid rock bends producing anticlines and synclines. But the lithifying of sediment into solid rock must be rapid to preserve fossils, tracks, mud cracks, and ripples. It is similar to cement which hardens within hours or months. My Answer:  These same crossbeded sandstones are found worldwide as well as other strata. Continents are made of lighter silicate granite rock different from heavier sea bed rock of basalt. The continents cannot remain under water being lighter than seawater. However, there is evidence of the deposition of marine fossils on all continents. These oceanic incursions are incorrectly called shallow seas. Evidence of jumbling and turbidity currents indicates they are tsunami deposits. The Greenland ice cap as well as everything else has been misdated as millions of years, while other radioactive substances have proven to be totally false. I do not get this magazine or Days of Praise anymore thanks to Henry Morris IV’s spite (Henry Morris’ grandson)because he did not like my using ICR material in my books, but I do get a copy from a friend. Embracing Catastrophic Plate Tectonics by Tim Clarey was great. In my book I discuss catastrophic plate tectonics triggered by an asteroid shower releasing the fountains of the deep at the time of the Flood. However, all aspects of this event are not understood, and so far even creation scientists do not understand that the paleontological, geological, and biblical evidence indicates that plate subduction and the formation of mountain ranges and separation of the continents did not happen during the Flood, or right after the Flood.
