I was one of the first creation scientists to discover that the cause of the Flood of Noah was an asteroid impact. Most creationists assumed it was a miracle. Henry Morris III argued with me, and said that was evolutionary concept.

Both evolutionists and creationists were reluctant to accept extraterrestrial impacts that effected our ancient history. Because for evolution it was catastrophic and falsified uniformitarian theory upon which evolution theory is founded; and for the creationist it was a naturalistic explanation for the cause of the Flood.

But I argued that the Flood itself was caused by flooding which is naturalistic. And only natural events leave evidence in the natural world. Miracles leave little evidence to prove they happened. This is why atheists refuse to believe in water into wine, and Jesus could walk on water, rise from the dead, etc. Natural science cannot repeat or test miracles.

Henry Morris did comment on meteorites and the

 Flood in the book The Genesis Flood which fascinated me, but no one published specific papers on asteroids as the cause. Since I published this several researchers have published papers and it is now generally accepted.

I have since proven it did happen, and many other creation scientists have published papers on this since. But I was not the first, it was suspected by Isaac Newton when he saw the comet of 1680. It was calculated to have passed the earth every 575 years. Newton’s closest colleagues and friends: the mathematician William Whiston, whose intricate calculations would bring him fame in Europe used mathematics to show that it may have been the cause of the Flood.

These calculations suggested that the comet of 1680 swung by the Earth every 575 years. Working backward, Whiston noted that one such cosmic encounter occurred in 2342 B.C.

Newton and Whisten were Christians who believed the Bible to be literal, and so do I. This is how I have made many amazing discoveries. They say when a model predicts things and they are found to be correct, it proves the model is correct. Evolution has never predicted anything but blunders that keep changing the details. However the main theory always remains, which shows that it is not scientific because it cannot be falsified.

I have found all the facts of science fit the facts stated in the Bible. The only contradictions come from man’s ignorance, incorrect observations, and naturalistic assumptions.

Sir Isaac Newton observed the comet, and his calculations of its trajectory confirmed his universal theory of gravitation. The astronomer Edmund Halley also studied the comet. Newton’s equations helped him determine the orbits of 24 other comets and predict when they would reappear in the night sky.

The comet of 1680 would likewise inspire one of Newton’s closest colleagues and friends: the mathematician William Whiston.

This comet, he declared, had passed close to Earth thousands of years ago—so close, in fact, that the comet had doused our world with water from its tail and exerted enough gravitational force to pull forth oceans from beneath our planet’s crust.

In short, Whiston concluded, the same comet seen by incredulous sky-watchers in the 17th century also unleashed the epic rainfall and great Flood that had cleansed the Earth of sinners in Biblical times.

Science today continues where Newton and Whiston left off with more discoveries that confirm they were generally right, but had not come to the conclusion that it was the impacts not the gravity that caused the Flood.

Recently Yellowstone has been on the verge of a Mega-Volcanic explosion and eruption like nothing seen for thousands of years that formed the Post-Flood Cenozoic strata.

I read a book by some researchers that said they believed the caldera in Yellowstone was formed by a gigantic asteroid impact under the crust. This hole in the curst has allowed lava and volatiles to leak to the surface. And that it has move from North East California through Nevada, Idaho to Wyoming where it is now in Yellowstone Park. The movement of the continents pass over this hot spot and release lava and steam.

The technical paper below is proof that this is a fact. And it proves the continental plates did move as a result of impacts and pressure from the chambers of the deep causing runaway seduction, after the Flood in the Days of Peleg.

This impact hole was created after the Flood because it is dated as Miocene. The Flood layers ended at the Cretaceous KT boundary.

This impact occurred during a second shower of meteorites orogeny (mountain building or worldwide earthquake) occurred about 350 years after the Flood. This is proven by the fact that it hit diatomaceous sedimentary strata formed by microscopic marine fossils like the whale and fish fossil beds in Lompoc California which are tsunamis deposits after the Flood.

I already knew that a huge crater was found in Nevada that covers much of the state and Area 51 is in this crater.

As the crustal plate shifts across the anomaly due to plate tectonics this leads to a series of giant volcanic calderas of the resurgent or supervolcano type strung out along a line, called a hotspot track, from NE California through N Nevada and S Idaho to the present location of the National Park in NW Wyoming.

Additionally for this case, we are very fortunate in that a large caldera, located in the Modoc plateau and at least 160 km in diameter, a compound crater created by cosmic body impact, has been found and now can be reported here. The crater is at the precise location (the Modoc plateau in NE California) where one would expect the very starting point of the YS hotspot track of Mid-Miocene age, by the Nash-Perkins date of 16.6 Ma (Nash & Perkins, 2002, 2012).

There are two parts of the impact structure that have been identified so far, mere remnants of the original impact crater as the entire region has been subject to extensive geological reworking by at least two orogenies, the Cascades and the Sierra, at this western cratonal margin of the North American continent. The greater part still awaits mapping and detailed geological study.

Chalk Mountain rises to an altitude of 5800 ft above sea level at the center of the crater wall. Chalk Mountain in a wide, almost semicircular bend.

A second, non-central, outlier part of the crater had been discovered earlier, as the initial discovery of the caldera by Tom Bowens in his 1998 MS thesis at CSM (Bowens & Gross, 1998)2

The combined structure of Stone Coal Valley as described in the Bowens-Gross abstract and of Big Bend-Pit river-Chalk Mountain presumably is the remnant of a much larger multi-ring formation, which in turn suggests a very large impact, that still is partially visible but mostly became obliterated during subsequent Cascadian orogeny (6 Ma) in the West and North and an ongoing Sierra Nevada uplift process since Eocene times in the South.

It would be shown to precede orogenies that have occurred in the region after the mid-Miocene impact event.

Once alerted to this situation, the pervasive effects of ET object impacts are visible everywhere on Earth, from the effects on, and initiation of, plate tectonics, to the realization that craters are a dime a dozen, especially on old surfaces, including ocean bottom, and such antipodal effects as chaotic terrains caused by bolide impacts—in the form of granitic extrusions.

So now we know why the basement granite was thrust to the surface.

Today geologists and volcanologists are worried because Yellowstone is heating up and geysers that erupted water now and then have become continuous. The ground has heated up and is melting the asphalt roads. If it erupts it would not be like no ordinary volcano/ It would send volatiles into the air that would explode like many atomic bombs, volcanic ash would bury all states around the area in 3 feet of choking ash. Then a basalt lava flow would cover thousands of miles. Like the Decan Traps in India covering an area the size of Washington and Oregon under 6,500 feet of lava covering 200 thousand miles. There are many gigantic hidden craters all over the world and the Decan Traps is believed to be another impact site.
