What is Truth?

       Pilot asked Jesus, “What is truth?”

John 18

³³ Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

³⁴ Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? (Jesus means, do believe this lie? He is the Savior, he did not come as a king. It was the Jews who only wanted to force him to be their physical king to fight the Romans.)

 ³⁵ Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

³⁶ Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

³⁷ Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. (Jesus did not say he was a king he came to rescue sinners from this world and everything that maketh a lie.) To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

³⁸ Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?

       Pilate is typical of all people, they do not know truth, and they only know lies. We are born to believe lies from our sin nature. We have to LEARN truth. We are born with a selfish nature that leads to evil, and we have to learn to be good and do the right thing, even when it costs us something.       Everywhere you look you see lies, fake news, fake science, our beliefs are based on lies coming from schools, television, churches, government, advertisements, from friends, family, and our own fallen nature. Everyone believes his beliefs are the only basis for truth. They believe that truth is whatever they believe. You have your truth and I have mine. And this means for them there is no objective truth.

        This is one of the way Satan has deceived most people. They will not listen to you because they don’t agree with your truth. If everyone read, studied, the bible and sought the facts that coincide with God’s Word, without reading into it their own beliefs, everyone would agree with each other. This is what divides people. Evil people want you to agree with them or they want to silence your free speech, or even kill you.

       The only way a person can find the truth is from God who created ALL truth both spiritual, and physical. True science is based on this, not speculation that contradicts the plain reading of the Bible. Evolution contradicts the Bible interpreting facts to fit science fiction stories supported by liars who hate God and therefor truth.

       Satan was the inventor of lying, and all his agents do nothing but lie. The Biden administration is a typical example. They NEVER tell the truth.

       This is why we have evil people running our society. They are deceived by Satan. David Jeramiah said, “There were three umpires. One said, I call strikes as they are. The second said, I call strikes the way I see them. The third said, I call them the way I think they should be.

       The career politicians pass legislation that enriches them (Like Nancy Pelosi). The love of money is the root of all evil. The honest man in government passes legislation that will benefit the people they serve. Trump is a good example. Jesus said to be a true leader you must be servant of all, not a dictator.

       Biden admitted that he would be a dictator on television to George Stephanopoulos. Biden said, “A President that rules by Executive Orders is a dictator.” When he got into office on his first day he signed more Executive Orders than any other President. And has continued to do it. And ALL of the Orders were destructive to our safety and freedoms.   

       Jesus was the physical manifestation of God and Jesus as the Word created the universe. And the physical universe is the manifestation of truth. Truth is another word for reality, things that actually exist.

       A lie is not based on reality.

       Lies destroy and cause death. The truth leads to life eternal. And truth can only be found in God’s Word by a person who has accepted the Pardon Jesus paid for on the cross, and was fulfilled when He rose from the dead. He was the Forerunner for all us who will be raised up to receive eternal life.
