Unconstitutional Attack on Trump
Trump wants
to know who the accuser is to face the person who has falsely accused him. The so
called whistle blower. Actually Trump is the whistleblower on criminal
activities by Joe Biden and his son.
So the
whistle blower is on the whistle blower.
- Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani believe that Biden improperly pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who had at one point been investigating Burisma Holdings. Biden threatened to withhold U.S. funds if the investigation continued.
- Some ethics watchdogs have
criticized Hunter Biden’s decision to work for Burisma in light of who his
father is.
.The
Liberals say they need to protect the whistleblower’s identity. Trump is right.
Who is this person? Is he lying?
The Sixth Amendment provides
that a person accused of a crime has the right to confront a witness against him or
her in a criminal
action. This includes the right to be present at the trial (which is
guaranteed by the Federal
Rules of Criminal Procedure Rule 43). As well
as the right to cross-examine the prosecution's witnesses.
Constitutional
Basis and Purpose
The Confrontation
Clause found in the Sixth Amendment provides
that "in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right…to
be confronted with the witnesses against him." The Clause was intended to
prevent the conviction of
a defendant upon
written evidence (such
as depositions or ex parte affidavits)
without that defendant having an opportunity to face his or her accusers and to
put their honesty and truthfulness to test before the jury.
This
Impeachment Inquiry is a criminal action and Trump and his lawyer have a right
to face and cross-examine them.
