What is Truth?

        People say don’t talk about politics or religion, it is not good etiquette, and everyone has a right to believe what he wants. This is wrong.  People do not have a right to believe things that will cause harm to them or others because of their beliefs. Remaining silent will not help them. Dictators think it is their right to genocide. Mobs think it is right to riot kill and destroy in support of their beliefs. Doing evil does not bring good. Two evils do not make a right. A criminal thinks it is his right to rob and kill, society owes me a living. I have seen bumper stickers that say, "Don't get mad, get even." This is NOT justice. Many a person has on their grave, "Hanged by Mistake."

    People need to honestly care for others in order to change others.  And each must allow the other person to present his evidence. Then discuss it. Like a court case each person presents their beliefs. When a person or organization silences or censors another person it is a violation of freedom of speech the foundation of our freedoms and evil and ignorance reigns.

     Hate and revenge are Satan's best weapons.

       Politics and religion are the most important things to discuss to help others be successful. It is a person’s beliefs that will lead to success or failure, because they guide a person’s interpretation of reality. And most people’s beliefs are based on emotions. Facts cannot refute emotions.  People develop what they assume is reality and judge the world based on these, often unproven assumptions taught to them by authority figures they have come to trust. It scares them to think they may be wrong and their life is based on a lie. Which is true of the majority of people. 

       When two disagree it is often that one or both are wrong. But sometimes one person is RIGHT!

       I was asked how I know something is a fact. He said no one can prove something is a fact.

       Arguments sometimes happens when a person misunderstands the other person, or they refuse to listen to the other person. Only by calmly discussing the disagreement and supporting it with proven facts can people come together. But both have to listen to each other’s evidence.

       The people in Pompeii didn’t believe that Vesuvius would erupt and kill them all.  And it is hard to prove to people that they are going the wrong way, because they won’t listen. Their computer has been programed with false information.

        This is why it is important to keep an open mind unless you have proven facts and know the truth.

       Many say don’t proselytize people with other beliefs. You will offend them. Let them believe what they want. But as a Christian we cannot remain silent when we see people destroying themselves and others around them.

       Religion and politics are the most important subject a person can discuss. In fact it the purpose behind are life to help people live better by understanding the truth. We are all teachers, if students won’t listen they will not learn.

       New Age religion says everyone has a right to their own opinion because no one knows the truth.

 Pilot said to Jesus, “What is truth?”

       Our very lives depend on what we believe to be the truth. Ignorance destroys. They ridicule saying, “Conspiracy theory.” Or, “That is only your opinion.” They believe truth is whatever they think it is, everyone who disagrees is wrong and should keep quiet. People who believe false beliefs usually refuse to give evidence for their beliefs. They sneer at Christians and say you think you are the only one who knows the truth. They believe that all religions lead to heaven.

        And the Bible is the only source of absolute truth.

       All roads but one lead to Rome, not Heaven.

        The truth is both religion and politics are based on facts! Most religions demand blind faith, Christianity is based on faith supported by facts.

       This idea that majority rules and everyone else must remain silent is a tool of Satan to prevent people from hearing the truth.

        If you believe a certain people group are evil, then you discriminate against them. This leads to hate, stealing, slander, destruction, and murder! The Bible says anyone who hates his brother is a murderer. They say, “Only a dead Indian is a good Indian.” Or all black people are less intelligent than white people. Or black people are better than white people. Or all Jews are bad people. We should judge people on their deeds, weather good or bad. They say don’t judge a book by its cover. God loves all people and all people are one race. All are created equal. However, life is not always equal. Everyone is special and has a purpose.

       So most important point. How can you know the truth? There are two ways. Read and believe the King James Translation at face value, and don’t read anything into it. Don’t add or subtract from God’s Word. This is the best foundation for truth.

       Another way is true science, collect information, observations, experiences, and do research. Always have two or more facts that support a particular conclusion.

    Finding the truth is like a picture puzzle. You find several pieces and see if they fit together. The more pieces that fit perfectly the greater the understanding of what is really the true picture. If a piece does not fit it is because it is either false, or you have not put together enough pieces of fact to know where it fits to see the complete picture yet.
