Days of Praise My Comments
My comments
on: Days of Praise October 1, 2019 by Henry M. Morris:
God has
never dealt with any nation as closely and fully as He has with Israel, but He
nevertheless is directly concerned with every nation as a national entity. He
has actually established each nation Himself (Deuteronomy 32:8), even
determining the geographical boundaries of each and the time when each would
rise and fall (Acts 17:26).
Every nation has a purpose in history, but Israel had the highest calling of all. God personally gave them (through Moses) the finest governmental and legal system any nation ever had (Deuteronomy 4:5-8), and modern governments would therefore do well to emulate these, in so far as possible. In fact, it is amazing that this Mosaic legal code has since served effectively as the basic legal code for all the greatest nations in modern history. This, in itself, is clear testimony to its divine origin and is therefore justification for retaining and implementing it wherever possible, even today.
Sadly, however, modern political and judicial practices are departing further and further from this divine standard. The philosophies of evolution and relativism dominate our schools of law today, and the concept of absolute principles of righteousness and justice, rooted in the nature of God as Creator and in His revelation, are largely being replaced by legislation based on evolving social policies and preferences. Even the Ten Commandments are banned from our schools, despite the fact that they are engraved in the Supreme Court building itself.
It is sobering to consider that God did not even spare His beloved nation Israel when His people departed from His law. Nor will He spare America if our growing rebellion against His Word goes on much longer. HMM

by Jeremy: Yes every
nation has a purpose, just like every individual has a purpose. Have you found
your purpose?
Clues are
always given in the Bible. You need to read and study what it says.
What about
the Palestinians? They are Arabs, and Israel was never given to them. He gave
it to Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The reason He names all three is because Ishmael
will try to take back his birth right that he gave to Jacob because he did not think
it was worth anything. This is an illustration of people who reject God and
believe the lie of evolution, evolving into gods. They have LOST their
birthright.
The law given
to Moses is the basis for all people and nations. America was founded on these
laws as well as our legal system. This is why Liberals and ACLU want to remove
the Ten Commandments from court houses and all government organizations
especially schools. This is because they want to replace it with the Humanist Constitution
of the United Nations so they can take away all our God given rights and
freedoms for those of a world government dictator. So man can take the place of
God. And a dictator can make himself the highest god of all.
The most
successful and just nations were those that followed God’s laws. And America is
the greatest so far. But like Israel the Evolutionists/Liberals/Democrats want
to undermine America and take away our freedoms. And replace God’s Rights with Privileges
granted by the government rather than God.
I was
shocked and angry that Reagan stated in the Driver’s Handbook that driving was
a privilege. No it is necessary like the horse. That is why they hanged anyone
who stole a person’s horse, because it lead to a life and death situation.
Today cops indiscriminately impound cars endangering a person’s livelihood.
Then they profit off it by selling them. They also illegally search a person’s
vehicle without a search warrant. This is as much a person’s home as his house
or castle.
This
socialist form of government is led by Satan’s agents to our destruction and
evil.
The Bible says
when the Righteous rule the people rejoice, but when evil rulers rule the
people morn. This is the difference between a Republic and a socialist
dictatorship. And Democracy leads to socialism (Majority rule is lynch mob
rule) then it becomes Communism.
