       Dr. Paul Andrew Lincoln Giem better known as Dr. Paul Giem is a researcher in the field of medicine and assistant professor of emergency medicine at Loma Linda University. He is a Young Earth Creationist. His father was also a physician. His family was also deeply religious, his parents believed the Bible, and were committed to following it.

    Dr. Paul Giem received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska (1973), his MA in Religion (Biblical Studies) from Loma Linda University, (1977), and his MD degree from the School of Medicine at Loma Linda University (1977).

       He currently practices emergency medicine in Loma Linda and Los Angeles and teaches medicine and religion at Loma Linda University where he is a clinical instructor in medicine. He is married to Marla Giem, MD. They have five children.
