 “Archaeological Anomalies & the Great Pyramids of Egypt”

     

    An anomaly is anything that does not “fit” into a prescribed narrative, or pre-existing suppositions.         Many such anomalies are found in geological and archaeological studies, but this presentation will demonstrate that the reason they don’t “fit” is because the pre-existing narrative of billions of years of slow and gradual processes is based on false naturalistic atheist assumptions, and a rejection of biblical history. 

    The reality is that neither archaeology, nor geology, nor even history, can be observed directly to be properly understood. And if a person rejects the fact of a worldwide flood that destroyed all of air-breathing life on earth a few thousand years ago. Then a person is left with their own speculation. It is the history of Noah’s Flood that illuminates our understanding of geology, archaeology, paleontology and much of history and current events. In light of this understanding we will take a look at the assumed “Egyptian” Pyramids.

 

   David Larsen was raised in a Christian family and  accepted Jesus as his Savior when he was 7.         However, when he got to college he had to face the secular claims of billions of years of evolution, and how dinosaurs could exist millions of years ago, to see how those things could fit with Scripture. 

    His first roommate at college challenged him to read, The Quest for Noah’s Ark, by John Montgomery. It fascinated him, and he realized that the rediscovery of Noah’s Ark could be the Rosetta Stone of geological interpretations and it could potentially restore acceptance of God’s Word to the Church. That eventually led him to become personally involved in the search for Noah’s Ark on Mt. Ararat in eastern Turkey. He says, “I have been there a dozen times and climbed the mountain half a dozen times in my quest”. 

    That quest led him to write his account of creation and the search for Noah’s Ark.
