Is Our Sun Burning out?

As the Sun ages, it slowly grows hotter due to the accumulation of residual energy emitted by these core reactions.   Initially, the Sun was only about 70% as luminous as it is today.   Consequently, the solar constant, the energy Earth receives from the Sun, would have been correspondingly lower.  "The Faint Sun Paradox" was borne out of the realization that, though the Sun was cooler in its infancy, the early Earth still contained liquid water. *   Throughout the subsequent billions of years, the Sun's luminosity increased gradually and will continue to increase in the future.     Astronomers estimate that the Sun's luminosity will increase about 6% every billion years.   This increase might seem slight, but it will render Earth inhospitable to life in about 1.1 billion years.    The planet will be too hot to support life.    When stellar astronomers first understood the Sun's energy generation mechanism, they believed that Earth life would survive until the Sun expanded into the red giant stage.  Today we know that our time is much shorter, albeit still more than one billion years.

*Astronomers and geologists are still attempting to reconcile this paradox.  Some suggest that Earth's atmosphere was much thicker in its youth and contained greater quantities of heat retentive carbon dioxide.   Such a gaseous envelope would have been able to retain more heat onto the planet's surface, just as Venus' carbon-dioxide rich atmosphere does today.     Also, the Moon was closer and therefore the resultant tidal heating was much greater, as the tidal forces induced by a nearby body are very distance sensitive.     These and other factors could explain how a cooler Sun could have sustained a warmer Earth.

As scientists have proven the atmosphere was much thicker, and have discovered that radioactive dating has been proven totally false. And that other methods prove the earth is thousands of years old. We know the statements that the universe is billions or millions is false, and that they are no more than a few thousand years old. Of course scientists are paid by the socialist government and foundations to lie to the public.

Revelation 16:8

⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

If modern scientific theory insists on the possibility of light coming out of empty space (in other words, without light bearing objects), it is inconsistent to criticize the biblical idea that light existed on the first day of creation without sun, moon, or stars . . . The fact that Genesis talks about light existing before the appearance of the sun, moon, and stars seem rather to be evidence of divine authorship of the Bible. It was inconceivable to pagan thinking that life could exist without the sun and its light. Hence pagan religions worshiped the sun as the source of light and heat . . . The Bible is unique in stating that the sun is of secondary importance (Donald Chittick, The Controversy, Portland, Oregon: Multnomah Press, 1984, p. 151).

Pagans in Egypt worshipped the sun as a god symbolized as a solar magic square of 666.

If the text forces us to understand that light came before the sun, then it would demonstrate the writer did not copy from Pagan creation myths, for all others had the sun as the source of all light. This would make the Hebrew story unique, for only the Hebrews believed light came before the sun. This proves our Bible was not copying some Pagan literature like secular scholars, and Jesuits claim.

 Revelation 21:23

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Many Bible researchers know that the earth is only 6 thousand years old. So the sun is burning out faster than secular scientists claim. Now secular geology/paleontology agree that the earth’s atmospheric environment was far different from today. There was more Carbon Dioxide which did not cause cataclysmic Global Warming. It made the whole earth tropical, and caused plants to thrive, increasing the oxygen content causing life to live longer and grow larger. Just as the Bible tells us.

In the near future the sun will grow in heat to scorch the earth. Then after 3.5 years it will go dark and the New Jerusalem will give the earth light.
