What IS Truth? From God or Man?

What is wrong with our world? All through history man has forgotten God the Creator. Even Christians only give lip service to God. They are man pleasers. Unbelievers are materialists, they do not believe in miracles. And this is because they do not believe in God. Going along with men’s beliefs will not bring them to Christ.

If the statements in the Bible involving science and physical nature are not true, then the spiritual truths are false also. Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, a knowledgeable scientist of his day.

John 3:10-15

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (Like creation in 6 days, 6 thousand years ago, and you believe it not.)

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: (Fulfilled Prophecy which has always been fulfilled 100% proves the Bible along with the facts discovered by science - not the theories.)

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Galatians 1:10,

¹⁰ For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

If we read things into the Bible to make it fit man’s materialistic naturalism into the Bible, then how can they accept the miracle of Salvation and Heaven?

Theistic Evolutionists claim to be Christians, and claim those who teach that life and the universe did not evolve, and that it is not millions of years old are turning away potential believers, undermining the teaching of the church with what the world believes is nonsense. Theistic evolutionists seek to please men.

Acts 5:29,

²⁹ Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Jeremiah 17:5,

⁵ Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

If you accept men’s science over the Bible you are not a Christian, you are supporting fallen man’s logic and denying God’s Word.

2 Timothy3:5, 7,

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 John 2,

2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

² And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

³ And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

⁴ He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

⁵ But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Romans 3:1-12,

3 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

The Jews trusted in circumcision for salvation and other rituals. Today some believe going to church will save you. These are Works and cannot save you. Circumcision was only a sign that you had accepted the Messiah which has been revealed to be Jesus in the New Testament. The same goes for baptism. Accepting his offer of Salvation, after acknowledging you are a sinner and are not perfect, then trusting in Jesus and obeying his Word is the only way to have eternal life. But if you fail and make a mistake, you only have to ask for forgiveness from Jesus. Deliberately knowingly commenting sin proves you are not sincere and are still in your sins.

² Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

The Jews were given the Old Testament the Torah directly from God. This was a responsibility to use it to reach the whole world. It did not make them more important than the Gentiles. But they turned it into works and worshiped idols.

³ For what if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

Because the unbelievers reject the truth, and reject the power and miracles of God does that mean they can change the truth into a manmade myth?

⁴ God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

When the Christian believes in the literal meaning of Genesis and the Bible, he is given the ability to prove the truth of the Bible. This is what prophecy, and creation science is doing. Soft dinosaur organic remains, Carbon 14, archaeology, etc. falsifies man’s Humanistic beliefs.

⁵ But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

Can man be saved and converted to Christianity if they believe what man says rather than God?

⁶ God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

If God’s Word is not accurate and Genesis is a myth, then God is disqualified to judge the world.

⁷ For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?

If we try to save men by accepting the world and its beliefs that clearly contradict the Bible, and we teach this, and read things into the Bible to fit man’s beliefs, then we are liars and the truth is not in us. Then we are sinners. The commandment says, “Thou shalt not lie.”

⁸ And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

⁹ What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

¹⁰ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

¹¹ There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

¹² They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

If man is right, then God is false.

We can only have Salvation and inherit the kingdom of God if we hold onto the Truth. We cannot reach the lost if we agree with them. We are here to teach them the TRUTH.
